Hello, this is Myra Tyrngaarde. Maybe you've seen me around Ironforge selling bread?
So I bet you're wondering, "Myra, how the hell did you end up posting your journal here?!" Well, the other day there was a fire elemental running loose in Ironforge! I guess some folks are saying that it's some elemental uprising or what not. Ole Fizzlespinner says he has a cousin whose friend's mom's warlock friend's cat-sitter is in some Twilight cult. Which I am assured has nothing whatsoever to do with creepy undead teens making out. Anyways, they are saying there is some impending Cataclysm or some such absurd thing. Well, I thought it was all gryphon apples until I saw a damn fire elemental right in Ironforge lighting the bloody place on fire. Not only was this horrifying, but he burnt my lovely journal to a crisp! Some adventuring sort came along and destroyed the elemental. You know the sort, shoulders all humongous and shooting lightning or who knows what. His name was probably Spydermánn or some absurd thing or the other. Bloody embarrassing how weird the kids are these days.
I was sobbing over the ashes of my lovely journal when that nutbar Gnome, Tinkmaster came along and showed me how to keep a journal on this gadget box of his. I guess he was trying to be helpful, but he kind of creeps me out. So here I am, starting over from scratch. This is where I'll tell my stories and even share the occasional baking recipe if you're lucky. Let's just hope this damn thing doesn't catch on fire too!
Tinkmaster tells me that he set up a new mail address for me too. I don't know why I can't just use the one in front of the bank like usual, but who am I to argue. He says that people can send mail to... Oh, this is horribly embarrassing, I'm not saying this. Son of a... ok, well he says it is HotBunsMyra. I'm so ashamed.
